Package: Basic Full Body Checkup. Tests: 77 parameters, 7 components. Price: From 549. Fasting: 10 hours. Sample: Blood and urine, single draw. Reports: 24 hours, digital. Home collection: Free across Delhi. Lab: NABL-accredited. This is the entry tier of the HealthVas full body line. Every package above it keeps all 77 of these parameters, so a baseline taken here never has to be repeated. To add one specific concern, the Full Body Checkup with Thyroid adds a Thyroid Profile (TT3, TT4, TSH) at 80 parameters, the Full Body Checkup with Vitamin D & B12 adds the two deficiency markers at 79, and the Full Body Checkup with HbA1c adds a three-month glucose average at 82 — three parallel options rather than three steps. The Advanced Full Body Checkup with Vitamin D & B12 carries all of their additions together at 89 parameters, and the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor puts quantitative CRP and RA Factor on top at 91. ## Screening a Household, Not Just One Person Households across Delhi commonly hold two or three adult generations under one roof, and the tests a 30-year-old needs for a first baseline are largely the tests a 58-year-old needs for annual follow-up: haemoglobin, liver enzymes, creatinine and GFR, cholesterol, fasting glucose and a urine examination. This package is that overlap. A phlebotomist can draw everyone in the house on one visit, which matters most for a parent or grandparent who would otherwise sit through a fasting wait at a collection centre. Free home collection runs across Rohini, Pitampura, Shalimar Bagh, Model Town, Civil Lines, Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar, Punjabi Bagh, Paschim Vihar, Rajouri Garden and Vikaspuri, and each person is reported separately in their own name. ## Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination No machine performs this one. A qualified pathologist sets up a slide from your sample and works through it under a microscope, which is pathologist time rather than analyser time — the reason it is the line item dropped when a price point has to hold. Five findings are reported: Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets, Hemoparasites, and a written Impression from the pathologist. An analyser returns counts and flags whatever falls outside a reference range. A pathologist reads size, shape and internal structure instead. The CBC establishes that haemoglobin is low; the smear starts to explain it. Small, pale red cells point towards iron deficiency, enlarged cells towards B12 or folate deficiency, sickle-shaped cells towards sickle cell disease. The same slide is where blast cells raising the possibility of leukaemia show up, and where clumped platelets are identified as clumping rather than reported as a dangerously low count. Dengue and malaria are endemic across Delhi NCR through the monsoon and post-monsoon months, which is what the Hemoparasites finding is there for. ## What 77 Parameters Will Not Tell You Thyroid hormones are not measured, so fatigue, weight change or hair fall driven by hypothyroidism will not be explained here — one in ten Indian adults is hypothyroid, women roughly three times as often as men (Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013;17(4):647-652). HbA1c is absent, so glucose is one fasting reading from one morning rather than a three-month average. Iron Studies are absent, so iron deficiency can be suggested by the CBC and the smear but not confirmed, and thalassemia trait specifically needs haemoglobin electrophoresis or HPLC as a separate test. The Complete Urine Analysis is routine dipstick and microscopy: it finds overt protein but not microalbuminuria, so early diabetic kidney damage needs a separate urine microalbumin or albumin-creatinine ratio test. Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 are not included. ## The Other 6 Components CBC with ESR (21): Haemoglobin, red cell indices, platelet count, the full white cell differential and ESR, covering anaemia, infection, inflammation and blood disorders. Over 50% of Indian women aged 15-49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019-21). Liver Function Test (12): Bilirubin fractions, ALP, SGOT, SGPT, GGT, total protein, albumin, globulin and both ratios; the SGOT/SGPT ratio helps separate fatty liver from alcohol-related injury and GGT rises earliest with alcohol. NAFLD affects 30-40% of urban Indian adults (Duseja et al., Indian Journal of Gastroenterology, 2022). Kidney Function Test (12): Urea, creatinine, BUN, sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, phosphorus, uric acid and GFR by MDRD — GFR is the number that stages chronic kidney disease, and uric acid screens for gout. Lipid Profile (9): Includes Non-HDL cholesterol, a better predictor of cardiovascular risk than LDL alone (AHA/ACC, 2018), plus three cardiac ratios. Complete Urine Analysis (17): Protein, glucose, ketones, blood, nitrites, leukocytes, pus cells, casts and crystals, covering urinary infection, overt proteinuria and stone-forming crystals. Blood Glucose Fasting (1): Below 100 mg/dL normal, 100-125 prediabetes, 126 or above diabetes (ADA Standards of Care, 2024). India has 101 million adults living with diabetes (ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology, 2023;11(7):474-489). ## Sources NFHS-5, 2019-21 · Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013;17(4):647-652 · Anjana et al., ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology, 2023;11(7):474-489 · ADA Standards of Care in Diabetes, 2024 · AHA/ACC Cholesterol Guideline, 2018 · Duseja et al., Indian Journal of Gastroenterology, 2022 Content last reviewed: October 2026
