This is the widest single-draw panel we list for women, and the honest description of it is narrow: it is the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women plus exactly three tests, all pancreatic — Amylase - Serum and Lipase - Serum, the enzymes that rise when the pancreas inflames, and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker. The other 96 parameters are the same: CBC with ESR, Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination read by a pathologist, Liver and Kidney Function, a 9-marker Lipid Profile, Complete Urine Analysis, Fasting Glucose, HbA1c, Thyroid Profile, Iron Studies, Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy), Vitamin B12, RA Factor, CRP, plus FSH, LH, Prolactin, CA125 and CEA. 99 parameters in one draw. So this version earns its price if gallstones, upper abdominal symptoms or very high triglycerides are part of your picture; if not, the Advanced version is the same panel for less. FSH and LH are read against your cycle day, so tell the phlebotomist which day you are on. The tumour markers are screening aids a doctor interprets with symptoms and imaging, not verdicts. Processed at a NABL-accredited laboratory. From 2499. Free home collection across Delhi — Mayur Vihar, Preet Vihar, Laxmi Nagar, Shalimar Bagh, Pitampura, Model Town, Civil Lines and Vasant Vihar.

What Does This Package Screen For?

At a Glance

Package: Comprehensive Health Checkup for Women. Tests: 99 parameters, 22 components. Price: From 2499. Fasting: 10 hours. Sample: Blood and urine, single draw. Reports: 24 hours, digital. Home collection: Free across Delhi. Lab: NABL-accredited. This is the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women plus exactly three tests — Amylase - Serum, Lipase- Serum and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker, all pancreatic. The other 96 parameters are identical, so the only question is whether you have a pancreatic reason to test; if not, the Advanced version covers the rest. The CRP in both is qualitative — positive or negative, with no figure; for a CRP value you can follow over time, the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor reports it quantitatively in mg/L and costs less than either. ## The three pancreatic additions Amylase - Serum and Lipase- Serum are pancreatic enzymes that rise when the pancreas inflames; Lipase is more pancreas-specific and stays raised longer. They are the standard blood tests for acute pancreatitis — severe upper abdominal pain boring to the back with vomiting, a same-day hospital matter, not a routine report. CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker is a tumour marker — a screening aid a doctor interprets with symptoms and imaging, never alone — commonly raised in benign biliary and pancreatic disease: gallstones, bile duct obstruction, cholangitis, chronic pancreatitis and cirrhosis. It also has a hard limit: 5 to 10% of people are Lewis-antigen negative and cannot produce CA19.9 at all, so their value stays undetectable even with cancer present. A normal result does not exclude cancer; a raised one does not confirm it. ## FSH, LH and Prolactin IHC- Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Luteinising Hormone and Prolactin are the first-line panel for irregular periods, suspected PCOS and fertility workup. FSH and LH drive the ovarian cycle: the FSH/LH ratio forms part of a PCOS assessment, LH often high relative to FSH. Raised prolactin suppresses ovulation and is a common, treatable cause of irregular or absent periods. Cycle day governs interpretation: FSH and LH are drawn on day 2 to 5, day 1 being the first day of bleeding, because the reference ranges are early-follicular, and a mid-cycle sample can show a normal LH surge that reads high — tell the collection team your cycle day. ## CA125 and CEA Both are tumour markers too, read the same way, with symptoms, examination and imaging. CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker rises in endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, pregnancy and menstruation; Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) runs higher in smokers and in bowel inflammation, pancreatitis and cirrhosis. A raised value usually has a non-cancerous cause and a normal value excludes nothing: persistent bloating or pelvic pain needs a gynaecologist and a pelvic ultrasound whatever the number. ## Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination A qualified pathologist spreads a slide, reads it under a microscope and reports Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets, Hemoparasites and a written Impression — manual pathologist time, the line item packages drop to hold a price. Over 50% of Indian women aged 15–49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019–21), and a CBC says only that haemoglobin is low. Cell shape says why: small pale cells mean iron deficiency, large cells B12 or folate deficiency, sickle-shaped cells sickle cell disease. The pathologist also catches blast cells suggesting leukaemia, clumped platelets an analyser reports as dangerously low, and, under Hemoparasites, malarial parasites — malaria and dengue return to Delhi NCR every monsoon. ## Booking this in Delhi In Delhi's established colonies three generations of women often share one address, and the oldest is usually the one who has never had a full panel done. Home collection is why it finally happens. ## The Other 13 Components CBC with ESR (21): Anaemia, infection, inflammation. Iron Studies (5): Distinguishes iron deficiency from chronic-disease anaemia; thalassemia trait needs Hb electrophoresis or HPLC. Thyroid Profile (3): Indian women are hypothyroid three times as often as men, 15.86% vs 5.02% (Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013). Liver Function (12): Fatty liver and alcohol damage; NAFLD affects 30–40% of urban Indian adults (Duseja et al., Indian J Gastroenterol, 2022). Kidney Function (12): Creatinine, GFR and uric acid. Lipid Profile (9): Non-HDL cholesterol predicts risk better than LDL alone (AHA/ACC, 2018). Complete Urine Analysis (17): Proteinuria, glycosuria, infection — not microalbuminuria, which needs a separate microalbumin/ACR test. Blood Glucose Fasting (1) and HbA1c (2): Under 100 mg/dL normal, 100–125 prediabetes, 126+ diabetes (ADA, 2024); 101 million Indian adults have diabetes (ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet, 2023). Anaemia distorts HbA1c — read it with the CBC. Vitamin B12 (1): 47–70% of Indians deficient (Yajnik et al., JAPI, 2006). Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) (1): Deficiency 40% to over 90% (Ritu & Gupta, IJCM, 2014). RA Factor (1): Positive in only 70–80% of rheumatoid arthritis; a negative does not exclude it, anti-CCP being more specific. CRP (1): Qualitative — inflammation present or absent; not hs-CRP. ## Sources NFHS-5, 2019–21 · Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013;17(4):647–652 · Anjana et al., ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet Diab Endo, 2023;11(7):474–489 · Yajnik et al., JAPI, 2006;54:775–782 · Ritu & Gupta, IJCM, 2014;39(4):178–184 · ADA, 2024 · AHA/ACC, 2018 · Duseja et al., Indian J Gastroenterol, 2022 Content last reviewed: October 2026

Who Should Get This Checkup?

  • Women choosing between this and the Advanced version – Read this item first, because the gap is narrow. Three tests separate the two packages — Amylase - Serum, Lipase - Serum and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker, all pancreatic. Every other parameter, including all the female hormones, CA125 and CEA, is identical. With no pancreatic reason to test, the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women gives you the same 96 parameters for less, and we would rather say so than let you pay for the larger number.
  • Women with gallstones or recurring upper abdominal discomfort – Gallstones are the commonest cause of pancreatitis in women, and this is the package that adds the pancreatic enzymes alongside a full liver profile. Set expectations correctly, though: severe upper abdominal pain with vomiting is an emergency for a hospital the same day, and mild persistent symptoms with normal enzymes still need a doctor and usually an abdominal ultrasound, which no blood test replaces.
  • Women whose periods have turned irregular, or stopped – FSH, LH and Prolactin are the first blood tests ordered here. The FSH/LH ratio feeds a PCOS assessment, a persistently high FSH suggests declining ovarian reserve, and raised prolactin is a common cause that responds to medication. Thyroid disease produces the same symptom and is measured in the same draw — Indian women are hypothyroid about three times as often as men (Unnikrishnan et al., Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism, 2013). Note your cycle day at collection.
  • Women who are exhausted, or bleeding heavily – Heavy menstrual bleeding is the commonest route to iron-deficiency anaemia in Indian women, and over 50% of women aged 15 to 49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019–21). The CBC, Iron Studies and Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination together establish whether anaemia is present, whether iron is the cause, and what the red cells look like under a microscope. Vitamin B12, Vitamin D and thyroid function come in the same visit.
  • Older women in multi-generational Delhi households – Where three generations share an address, the oldest woman is usually the one who has never had a full panel, because getting to a collection centre is the obstacle. A home visit removes it. One Delhi caveat is worth knowing when her report arrives: through the October-to-January smog season many residents cut outdoor walking sharply, reducing sun exposure and vitamin D synthesis, and Indian deficiency prevalence already runs from 40% to over 90% (Ritu & Gupta, Indian Journal of Community Medicine, 2014).
  • Women past 40 wanting the widest single-draw panel – This is the broadest panel we list for women: organ function, metabolic health, deficiencies, inflammation, the ovulatory hormones, pancreatic enzymes and three tumour markers. Fasting glucose under 100 mg/dL is normal, 100 to 125 is prediabetes, 126 or above is diabetes (ADA Standards of Care in Diabetes, 2024), and India has 101 million adults with diabetes (ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology, 2023;11(7):474–489). Bone density needs a DEXA scan, which no blood package includes.

How to Prepare

Fasting: 10 hours overnight. Water is allowed and helps — a hydrated vein is an easier draw. No tea, coffee, juice or milk. Cycle day: Book day 2 to 5 if you can, counting the first day of bleeding as day 1. FSH and LH are read against early-follicular reference ranges, and a mid-cycle sample can show a normal LH surge that looks high. If your periods are irregular or absent, book any day and tell the team. Timing: A 7 to 10 AM slot is best. Prolactin is highest during sleep and the early hours, so a rested morning sample avoids a falsely raised value. TSH also follows a daily rhythm. Before a prolactin test: No breast or nipple stimulation and no breast examination for 24 hours. Sit quietly for 15 to 20 minutes before the draw. Stress, sleep deprivation and several medicines — some antipsychotics, antiemetics and acid-reducing drugs — raise prolactin, so list what you take. Medications: Continue prescription medicines unless your doctor says otherwise. Stop biotin supplements 48 hours before; biotin interferes with thyroid and hormone assays. Declare hormonal contraception, fertility medication and hormone replacement therapy, which change FSH, LH and prolactin. Alcohol: None for 48 hours; it affects GGT, liver enzymes, triglycerides, glucose and pancreatic enzymes. Exercise: nothing strenuous for 24 hours. Pregnancy: CA125 is raised in pregnancy. If you are pregnant or might be, say so at booking. If you are in pain right now: Severe upper abdominal pain with vomiting needs a hospital the same day, not a home checkup. Several people at one address: Add each person during booking and ask for a single slot. Home collection: Free across Delhi — Mayur Vihar, Preet Vihar, Laxmi Nagar, Dilshad Garden, Shalimar Bagh, Pitampura, Model Town, Civil Lines, Vasant Vihar, Chattarpur and Jasola. Reports: Digital within 24 hours, all 99 parameters with reference ranges and flagged abnormals.

What Is Included — and What Is Not

Included: 99 parameters, 22 components 8 profiles: Complete Blood Count (CBC) + ESR (21), Complete Urine Analysis (17), Liver Function Test (12), Kidney Function Test (12), Lipid Profile (9), Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination (5), Iron Studies (5), Thyroid Profile (3). 14 individual tests: HBA1c with average blood glucose (2), Blood Glucose Fasting (1), Vitamin B12 (1), Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) (1), RA Factor (1), CRP qualitative (1), Prolactin (1), IHC- Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) (1), Luteinising Hormone (1), Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) (1), CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker (1), CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker (1), Amylase - Serum (1), Lipase - Serum (1). Sample: Blood and urine, single draw. Fasting: 10 hours. Reports: 24 hours. Gender: Female. Home collection: Free across Delhi. ## Not included The CRP here is qualitative — positive or negative, with no number to follow across repeat tests. The Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor reports CRP quantitatively in mg/L. Also absent: Estradiol, AMH, testosterone, DHEAS and 17-OH progesterone, which a gynaecologist may add in a PCOS or fertility workup; a pelvic ultrasound, which is how PCOS and ovarian masses are actually assessed; an abdominal ultrasound or CT, which is how the pancreas and biliary tree are imaged; beta-hCG for pregnancy; hs-CRP for cardiac risk; Anti-CCP for rheumatoid arthritis; urine microalbumin or ACR for early diabetic kidney damage; haemoglobin electrophoresis or HPLC for thalassemia trait; a Pap smear or HPV test for cervical screening; a mammogram or any breast imaging; a DEXA scan for bone density; and colonoscopy, which is what screens for bowel cancer. The three tumour markers here — CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker, Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker — are screening aids. None confirms or rules out cancer; that takes a doctor's assessment with imaging and sometimes a biopsy. CA19.9 carries one further limit: 5 to 10% of people are Lewis-antigen negative and cannot produce it at all, so their value stays undetectable regardless of disease.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Comprehensive Health Checkup for Women in Delhi

What is included in the Comprehensive Health Checkup for Women?

99 parameters across 22 components: Complete Blood Count (CBC) + ESR (21), Complete Urine Analysis (17), Liver Function Test (12), Kidney Function Test (12), Lipid Profile (9), Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination (5), Iron Studies (5), Thyroid Profile with TT3, TT4 and TSH (3), HBA1c with average blood glucose (2), Blood Glucose Fasting (1), Vitamin B12 (1), Vitamin D 25-Hydroxy (1), RA Factor (1), CRP qualitative (1), Prolactin (1), IHC- Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) (1), Luteinising Hormone (1), Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) (1), CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker (1), CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker (1), Amylase - Serum (1) and Lipase - Serum (1).

How much does the Comprehensive Health Checkup for Women cost in Delhi?

It starts from 2499 in Delhi. Home sample collection and digital reports are included in that figure, with nothing added at checkout. Book online or on WhatsApp.

What exactly does this add over the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women?

Three tests, and only three. This package holds everything in the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women — all 96 parameters, including FSH, LH, Prolactin, CA125 and CEA — plus Amylase - Serum, Lipase - Serum and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker, which takes it to 99 parameters across 22 components. All three additions concern the pancreas: Amylase and Lipase are pancreatic enzymes that screen for pancreatitis, and CA19.9 is a pancreatic tumour marker. Nothing else differs, so with no pancreatic reason to test, the Advanced version covers the same ground for less.

Is this package worth the extra money?

Only if you need the pancreas tested, and it is a narrow difference rather than a grand one. Three tests separate the two. If you have had gallstones, get recurring upper abdominal discomfort, or carry very high triglycerides, Amylase, Lipase and CA19.9 are relevant and this is the right package. If none of that applies, the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women gives you the identical 96 parameters for less money, and we would rather tell you that than not.

What do the Amylase and Lipase tests detect?

Both are digestive enzymes made by the pancreas, and both rise when it is inflamed. Lipase is more specific to the pancreas and stays raised longer, which often makes it the more useful of the two. They are the standard blood tests for acute pancreatitis, which presents as severe upper abdominal pain boring through to the back, usually with vomiting — an emergency needing a hospital the same day. Gallstones are the commonest cause in women. Amylase also rises with salivary gland disease, reduced kidney clearance and some medicines, so a mildly raised value without symptoms often has a benign explanation.

Does a raised CA19.9 mean I have pancreatic cancer?

No. CA19.9 is a tumour marker, which makes it a screening aid a doctor interprets alongside your symptoms and imaging, never read on its own. It is commonly raised in benign biliary and pancreatic conditions — gallstones, bile duct obstruction, cholangitis, chronic pancreatitis and cirrhosis — and jaundice from any cause pushes it up. Its established clinical use is monitoring pancreatic cancer that has already been diagnosed, not finding it in people without symptoms. A normal value does not exclude pancreatic cancer and a raised one does not confirm it.

Can CA19.9 be normal in someone who has pancreatic cancer?

Yes, and in one group it is always undetectable. Between 5 and 10% of people are Lewis-antigen negative, meaning their body cannot produce CA19.9 at all, so their result stays undetectable whether or not disease is present. Early pancreatic cancer also frequently fails to raise it. A normal CA19.9 is therefore not an all-clear: persistent upper abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, new diabetes or jaundice needs a doctor and imaging whatever the report says.

Does a raised CA125 mean I have ovarian cancer?

No. CA125 is a screening aid with a meaningful false-positive rate in women without symptoms. It rises in endometriosis, uterine fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, pregnancy and ordinary menstruation, all far more common than ovarian cancer in women under 50. Around half of early-stage ovarian cancers do not raise it, so a normal result is not reassurance by itself. Persistent bloating, pelvic pain, early satiety or a change in bowel habit needs a gynaecologist and a pelvic ultrasound whatever the number says.

What does the CEA test detect?

Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) is a protein used mainly to monitor colorectal cancer that has already been diagnosed, rather than to find it in people without symptoms. Smokers run higher baseline levels as a rule, and CEA also rises in inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, cirrhosis and chronic lung disease. A normal CEA does not exclude bowel cancer. Colonoscopy, or a faecal immunochemical test, is what screens for colorectal cancer, and neither is part of this package.

What do FSH, LH and Prolactin actually tell me?

Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinising Hormone (LH) come from the pituitary gland and drive the ovarian cycle; Prolactin is the hormone of lactation, which suppresses ovulation when raised. Together they are the standard first-line panel for irregular or absent periods, suspected PCOS and the start of a fertility workup. The FSH/LH ratio contributes to a PCOS assessment, with LH often high relative to FSH, while a persistently high FSH points towards declining ovarian reserve or the menopausal transition.

Which day of my cycle should I book for?

Day 2 to 5, counting the first day of bleeding as day 1. The reference ranges used for FSH and LH are early-follicular ones, so a sample taken mid-cycle can show an LH surge that is entirely normal yet reads as high against them. Tell the phlebotomist your cycle day so it reaches the laboratory on the requisition. If your periods are irregular or absent, book any day and say so — your gynaecologist will read the result in that context.

Can a raised Prolactin be treated?

Usually, yes, which is why it is worth measuring. Raised prolactin suppresses ovulation and is a common cause of irregular or absent periods, sometimes with milky nipple discharge. It is also pushed up by things that are not disease — stress, sleep deprivation, a recent breast examination or nipple stimulation — and by several medicines including some antipsychotics, antiemetics and acid-reducing drugs. A mildly high value is normally repeated under rested morning conditions, and a persistently high one is investigated for a pituitary cause and often responds to tablets.

Is the CRP in this package a number or just positive and negative?

Positive or negative. The CRP here is qualitative: it indicates whether inflammation is present and gives no value in mg/L, so it cannot be compared across repeat tests to show whether inflammation is rising or settling. If your doctor wants a trackable CRP value, the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor reports CRP quantitatively in mg/L and costs less than this package. Neither is hs-CRP, the high-sensitivity assay used for cardiovascular risk.

What is the Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination and why does it matter for women?

It is the one component here that no analyser can produce. A qualified pathologist prepares a slide from your sample, reads it under a microscope and reports five findings: Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets, Hemoparasites and a written Impression. It matters particularly for women because over 50% of Indian women aged 15 to 49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019–21), and a CBC alone says only that haemoglobin is low. Small pale cells point to iron deficiency, large cells to B12 or folate deficiency, sickle-shaped cells to sickle cell disease. It also detects blast cells that may indicate leukaemia and platelet clumping that an automated counter misreads as a dangerously low platelet count.

Why is a Peripheral Smear missing from so many packages?

Because it cannot be automated. Every other test here is machine-run, but a smear needs a qualified pathologist to prepare and read each slide individually — skilled manual time rather than machine time, so it is the line item cut first when a package is built to a price. Across Delhi NCR the Hemoparasites finding is the practical reason to keep it: the slide is examined directly for malarial parasites inside red blood cells, and dengue, malaria and chikungunya circulate every monsoon. Check any package's test list for a Blood Picture or Peripheral Smear profile by name.

How long do I need to fast before this checkup?

10 hours overnight. Water is allowed and encouraged; no tea, coffee, juice or milk during the fasting window. The fast is needed for the Lipid Profile and Blood Glucose Fasting. Avoid alcohol for 48 hours, since it affects GGT, triglycerides, glucose and pancreatic enzymes. Stop biotin supplements 48 hours beforehand. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and declare hormonal contraception, fertility medication or hormone replacement therapy, all of which change FSH, LH and prolactin results.

Can one home visit cover my mother, my grandmother and me?

Yes, and in Delhi it is a common booking. Add each person during booking and ask for one slot; the phlebotomist draws every sample on the same visit and each woman gets her own report. In a shared household it is usually the oldest woman whose checkup keeps being postponed, because the trip to a collection centre is the obstacle, so booking together is the practical fix. For a man in the family, the Comprehensive Health Checkup for Men is the matching panel, with Testosterone Total and PSA in place of the female hormones and CA125.

Does Delhi's winter air quality change how I should read this report?

Only in one respect, and not the one people expect: nothing in this package measures air pollution or its effects, and no result should be read that way. The honest connection is behavioural. Many Delhi residents walk and exercise outdoors far less between October and January, which cuts sun exposure and therefore vitamin D synthesis, so a low Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) at the end of winter is common; Indian deficiency prevalence runs from 40% to over 90% in any case (Ritu & Gupta, Indian Journal of Community Medicine, 2014). The ESR and the qualitative CRP here flag general inflammation, which has many possible causes.

How quickly will I get the report, and is the laboratory NABL-accredited?

Digital reports arrive within 24 hours of sample collection, with all 99 parameters carrying reference ranges and flagged abnormal values, plus trend tracking if you have earlier results on HealthVas. Your sample is processed at a NABL-accredited laboratory in our network. NABL accreditation is granted to individual laboratories after evaluation of their equipment, processes and personnel; it is not a company-wide certification, and HealthVas does not claim to hold accreditation itself.

Why Book on HealthVas?

The price on the page is the price you pay. Home sample collection and digital reports are not billed separately. Every sample is processed at a NABL-accredited laboratory in our network. NABL accreditation (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) is granted to individual laboratories after evaluation of their equipment, processes and personnel — it is not a company-wide certification, and HealthVas does not claim to hold it. We would rather be accurate about our own catalogue than sell the biggest number in it. This package is the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women plus three pancreatic tests — Amylase, Lipase and CA19.9. Without a pancreatic reason to test, the Advanced version is the same 96 parameters for less. And the CRP in both is qualitative; if your doctor wants a CRP number to follow over time, the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor reports it quantitatively in mg/L and costs less than either. The Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination here is read by a qualified pathologist under a microscope rather than counted by an analyser — the way parasites, abnormal cell shapes and clumped platelets get caught, and it earns its place where over half of women aged 15 to 49 are anaemic. The hormone and tumour-marker results carry their limits with them: FSH and LH read against cycle day, prolactin against rested conditions, and CA125, CEA and CA19.9 as screening aids with many non-cancerous reasons for a raised value — CA19.9 being undetectable altogether in the 5 to 10% of people who are Lewis-antigen negative. Free home sample collection across Delhi. Digital reports within 24 hours. Book online or on WhatsApp.
