Package: Basic Full Body Checkup. Tests: 77 parameters, 7 components. Price: From 549. Fasting: 10 hours. Sample: Blood and urine, single draw. Reports: 24 hours, digital. Home collection: Free across Faridabad. Lab: NABL-accredited. This is the entry tier of the HealthVas full body line, and every package above it keeps all 77 of these parameters. Beside it sit three parallel single-concern variants: the Full Body Checkup with Thyroid (80 parameters), the Full Body Checkup with Vitamin D & B12 (79), and the Full Body Checkup with HbA1c, which adds thyroid and a three-month glucose average (82). The Advanced Full Body Checkup with Vitamin D & B12 carries all their additions at 89, and the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor sits above it at 91. ## Creatinine and Uric Acid Read Differently After Physical Work The Kidney Function Test is one of only seven components here, and two of its twelve parameters behave in a way worth knowing. Creatinine is a breakdown product of muscle; uric acid rises with tissue turnover. Heavy physical exertion the day before pushes both up temporarily in someone whose kidneys are entirely normal. Standard advice is to avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours, which is simple if the exertion is a gym session and meaningless if it is your job. So the practical instruction is different for anyone doing physical work across Faridabad's manufacturing and trade sector: be sampled before a shift rather than after one, or on the morning following a rest day. Either keeps the 24-hour window intact without taking leave. If neither is possible, say so when booking — it is noted on the requisition, and a mildly raised creatinine or uric acid alongside a known day of heavy lifting is read very differently from the same figure in someone who sat at a desk. GFR by MDRD is calculated from creatinine, so a transient rise moves that number too. This is an interpretation point, not a warning: no test here examines anything to do with your workplace. ## Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination Every other component here returns numbers. This one also returns a sentence. The fifth finding in the Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination is a written Impression — a qualified pathologist's own description, in words, of what your blood looked like after they prepared a slide and read it cell by cell. The other four findings are Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets and Hemoparasites. That sentence exists because no analyser can write it. A machine counts cells and flags values outside a reference range; it cannot see shape or internal structure. The Complete Blood Count establishes that haemoglobin is low; the smear begins on why. Microcytic red cells point towards iron deficiency, macrocytic cells towards B12 or folate deficiency, sickle-shaped cells towards sickle cell disease. The same slide is where blast cells raising the possibility of leukaemia appear, where clumped platelets are identified as clumping rather than reported as a dangerously low count, and where malarial parasites are found inside red cells — dengue and malaria are endemic across Delhi NCR. Being pathologist time rather than machine time, it is the first line item dropped to hold an entry-level price. ## What 77 Parameters Will Not Tell You Thyroid hormones are not measured, so hypothyroid fatigue, weight change or hair fall will not be explained here; one in ten Indian adults is hypothyroid, women roughly three times as often as men (Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013;17(4):647-652). HbA1c is absent, so glucose is one fasting reading, not a three-month average. Without Iron Studies, iron deficiency can be suggested but not confirmed, and thalassemia trait needs haemoglobin electrophoresis or HPLC separately. The Complete Urine Analysis finds overt protein but not microalbuminuria, so early diabetic kidney damage needs a separate urine microalbumin or albumin-creatinine ratio test. Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 are not included. ## The Other 6 Components CBC with ESR (21): Haemoglobin, red cell indices, platelet count, white cell differential and ESR — anaemia, infection, inflammation, blood disorders. Over 50% of Indian women aged 15-49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019-21). Liver Function Test (12): Bilirubin fractions, ALP, SGOT, SGPT, GGT, protein, albumin, globulin and both ratios; NAFLD affects 30-40% of urban Indian adults (Duseja et al., Indian Journal of Gastroenterology, 2022). Kidney Function Test (12): Urea, creatinine, BUN, electrolytes, calcium, phosphorus, uric acid and GFR by MDRD, which stages chronic kidney disease. Lipid Profile (9): Non-HDL cholesterol, a better predictor of cardiovascular risk than LDL alone (AHA/ACC, 2018), plus three cardiac ratios. Complete Urine Analysis (17): Protein, glucose, ketones, blood, nitrites, leukocytes, pus cells, casts, crystals. Blood Glucose Fasting (1): Below 100 mg/dL normal, 100-125 prediabetes, 126 or above diabetes (ADA, 2024); India has 101 million adults with diabetes (ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet, 2023;11(7):474-489). ## Sources NFHS-5, 2019-21 · Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013;17(4):647-652 · Anjana et al., ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology, 2023;11(7):474-489 · ADA Standards of Care in Diabetes, 2024 · AHA/ACC Cholesterol Guideline, 2018 · Duseja et al., Indian Journal of Gastroenterology, 2022 Content last reviewed: October 2026
