The Rh factor is separate; if present you are Rh positive, if absent Rh negative. A full result reads like "B negative" or "A positive". Your blood group does not change in your lifetime, so a single reliable report is usually enough. ## Why It Matters It matters for transfusion, surgery and delivery, and universities, employers and sports bodies often ask for it.
