Package: Basic Full Body Checkup. Tests: 77 parameters, 7 components. Price: From 549. Fasting: 10 hours. Sample: Blood and urine, single draw. Reports: 24 hours, digital. Home collection: Free across Noida. Lab: NABL-accredited. This is the entry tier of the HealthVas full body line, and every package above it keeps all 77 of these parameters, so a baseline taken here is never repeated later. Three parallel single-concern variants sit beside it: the Full Body Checkup with Thyroid adds a Thyroid Profile at 80 parameters, the Full Body Checkup with Vitamin D & B12 adds the two deficiency markers at 79, and the Full Body Checkup with HbA1c adds thyroid and a three-month glucose average at 82. The Advanced Full Body Checkup with Vitamin D & B12 carries all of their additions together at 89, and the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor places quantitative CRP and RA Factor above that at 91. ## A First Baseline, Taken Before Anything Is Wrong Noida's workforce skews young, and most people booking a first full body checkup across the sector grid are in their twenties or thirties with no symptom to investigate. That is the right time, for a reason easy to miss: the useful output is not an abnormal finding but a set of numbers to measure the next decade against. A creatinine, an LDL and a fasting glucose mean little alone and a great deal when the same panel repeats at 35 and at 40. Meanwhile a long daily run along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, a seated workday and meals eaten at whatever hour the shift allows push triglycerides, fasting glucose and liver fat the same way, slowly, with nothing you would notice. This package measures all three. ## Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination The platelet count is the parameter an automated report most often gets wrong. Platelets clump inside the sample tube, an analyser reads the clump as one cell, and the result is an alarmingly low count on normal blood. Only a human eye on a slide settles it. The Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination is that step: a qualified pathologist prepares a slide from your sample and works through it under a microscope, cell by cell. It is pathologist time rather than machine time, which is why it is the line item cut to hold an entry-level price. Five findings are reported: Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets, Hemoparasites, and a written Impression from the pathologist. Past platelets, the slide shows size, shape and internal structure. The CBC states that haemoglobin is low; the smear begins to say why, with microcytic cells pointing towards iron deficiency, macrocytic cells towards B12 or folate deficiency and sickle-shaped cells towards sickle cell disease. It is also where blast cells raising the possibility of leukaemia appear, and where malarial parasites are seen inside red cells. Dengue and malaria are endemic across Delhi NCR, so the Hemoparasites finding and a hand-verified platelet count are the two results here that can change what happens the same week. ## What 77 Parameters Will Not Tell You Thyroid hormones are not measured, so fatigue, weight change or hair fall driven by hypothyroidism will not be explained here. One in ten Indian adults is hypothyroid, women roughly three times as often as men (Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013;17(4):647-652). HbA1c is absent, so glucose is one fasting reading from one morning rather than a three-month average. Iron Studies are absent, so iron deficiency can be suggested but not confirmed, and thalassemia trait needs haemoglobin electrophoresis or HPLC as a separate test. The Complete Urine Analysis is routine dipstick and microscopy: it finds overt protein but not microalbuminuria, so early diabetic kidney damage needs a separate urine microalbumin or albumin-creatinine ratio test. Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 are not included. ## The Other 6 Components CBC with ESR (21): Haemoglobin, red cell indices, platelet count, white cell differential and ESR, covering anaemia, infection, inflammation and blood disorders. Over 50% of Indian women aged 15-49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019-21). Liver Function Test (12): Bilirubin fractions, ALP, SGOT, SGPT, GGT, protein, albumin, globulin and both ratios; NAFLD affects 30-40% of urban Indian adults (Duseja et al., Indian Journal of Gastroenterology, 2022). Kidney Function Test (12): Urea, creatinine, BUN, electrolytes, calcium, phosphorus, uric acid and GFR by MDRD, which stages chronic kidney disease. Lipid Profile (9): Includes Non-HDL cholesterol, a better predictor of cardiovascular risk than LDL alone (AHA/ACC, 2018), plus three cardiac ratios. Complete Urine Analysis (17): Protein, glucose, ketones, blood, nitrites, leukocytes, pus cells, casts and crystals. Blood Glucose Fasting (1): Below 100 mg/dL normal, 100-125 prediabetes, 126 or above diabetes (ADA, 2024); India has 101 million adults living with diabetes (ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet, 2023;11(7):474-489). ## Sources NFHS-5, 2019-21 · Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013;17(4):647-652 · Anjana et al., ICMR-INDIAB, Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology, 2023;11(7):474-489 · ADA Standards of Care in Diabetes, 2024 · AHA/ACC Cholesterol Guideline, 2018 · Duseja et al., Indian Journal of Gastroenterology, 2022 Content last reviewed: October 2026
