One result in this panel changes meaning with your age, and it is worth knowing which before the report arrives. CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker is a screening aid, not a verdict, and the benign reasons it rises — menstruation, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic infection, pregnancy — are mostly premenopausal. Once periods have stopped, most of that list no longer applies, so the same mildly raised value has fewer innocent explanations and is likelier to lead to a pelvic ultrasound than to a repeat in three months. Neither reading is a diagnosis. The same shift applies to FSH and Luteinising Hormone: the day 2 to 5 cycle rule has nothing to attach to once periods have stopped, and a high FSH then reads as confirming the menopausal transition. Beyond the hormones, this package is the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women plus exactly three pancreatic tests — Amylase - Serum, Lipase - Serum and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker — with the other 96 parameters identical: CBC with ESR, Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination read by a pathologist, Liver and Kidney Function, a 9-marker Lipid Profile, Complete Urine Analysis, Blood Glucose Fasting, HbA1c, Thyroid Profile, Iron Studies, Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy), Vitamin B12, RA Factor, CRP, Prolactin and CEA. 99 parameters, one draw. Processed at a NABL-accredited laboratory. From 2499. Free home collection across Faridabad — NIT 2, NIT 5, Sector 16, Sector 29, Sector 37, Old Faridabad, Badkhal and Green Field Colony.

What Does This Package Screen For?

At a Glance

Package: Comprehensive Health Checkup for Women. Tests: 99 parameters, 22 components. Price: From 2499. Fasting: 10 hours. Sample: Blood and urine, single draw. Reports: 24 hours, digital. Home collection: Free across Faridabad. Lab: NABL-accredited. The honest description: this is the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women plus exactly three pancreatic tests — Amylase - Serum, Lipase- Serum and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker. The other 96 parameters are identical, hormones, CA125 and CEA included, so with no pancreatic reason to test the Advanced version covers the rest for less. The CRP in both is qualitative, no figure; for a number in mg/L the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor costs less than either. ## CA125 Is Read Differently Before and After Menopause CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker is a screening aid a doctor reads alongside symptoms, examination and imaging — never alone. A raised value usually has a non-cancerous cause, and a normal value does not exclude cancer. What changes with age is which benign causes remain. Before menopause they are menstruation, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic infection and pregnancy — all far more common than ovarian cancer, so a mildly raised CA125 at 32 is explained easily. After periods stop most of that list no longer applies, so the same value at 58 has fewer innocent explanations and is likelier to prompt a pelvic ultrasound and a gynaecology opinion than a repeat in three months. Neither reading is a diagnosis, and persistent bloating or pelvic pain needs a scan whatever CA125 says. ## FSH and LH After Your Periods Stop IHC- Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Luteinising Hormone and Prolactin are the first-line panel for irregular periods, suspected PCOS and fertility workup. FSH and LH are drawn on day 2 to 5 of the cycle, the ranges being early-follicular. If your periods have stopped that rule has nothing to attach to: book any day, say so, and a persistently high FSH then reads as confirming the menopausal transition rather than as an out-of-range result. Raised Prolactin suppresses ovulation and is a common treatable cause of irregular periods, though stress and several medicines raise it too. If your day involves heavy physical work, paid or domestic, it transiently raises creatinine, uric acid and CRP — so book after your longest gap from it. ## The Three Pancreatic Additions Amylase - Serum and Lipase- Serum rise when the pancreas inflames; Lipase is more pancreas-specific and stays raised longer. They are the standard tests for acute pancreatitis, a same-day hospital matter rather than a routine report, and gallstones are its commonest cause in women. CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker, like CA125 and Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA), which runs higher in smokers, is a screening aid read with symptoms and imaging. CA19.9 is commonly raised in benign biliary and pancreatic disease — gallstones, bile duct obstruction, cholangitis, chronic pancreatitis, cirrhosis — and by jaundice; the 5 to 10% of people who are Lewis-antigen negative cannot produce it at all, so their value stays undetectable even with cancer. A normal value does not exclude cancer; a raised one does not confirm it. ## Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination A raised ESR, reported with the CBC here, says only that something somewhere is inflamed — it names nothing. This profile looks at the cells. A qualified pathologist prepares a slide, reads it under a microscope and reports Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets, Hemoparasites and a written Impression. No analyser does this: the cost is pathologist time, the line item dropped to hold a price point. Over 50% of Indian women aged 15–49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019–21), and a CBC says only that haemoglobin is low. Cell shape says why: small pale cells mean iron deficiency, large cells B12 or folate deficiency, sickle-shaped cells sickle cell disease. The slide also shows blast cells suggesting leukaemia, clumped platelets an analyser returns as dangerously low, and malarial parasites, endemic with dengue in NCR. ## The Other 13 Components CBC with ESR (21): anaemia, infection, inflammation. Iron Studies (5): thalassemia trait needs Hb electrophoresis. Thyroid Profile (3): Indian women hypothyroid three times as often as men, 15.86% vs 5.02% (Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013). Liver Function Test (12): NAFLD in 30–40% of urban Indian adults (Duseja et al., 2022). Kidney Function Test (12): creatinine, urea, eGFR, uric acid. Lipid Profile (9): Non-HDL cholesterol beats LDL alone (AHA/ACC, 2018). Complete Urine Analysis (17): not microalbuminuria, which needs a separate ACR test. Blood Glucose Fasting (1), HbA1c (2): 100–125 mg/dL prediabetes, 126+ diabetes (ADA, 2024); anaemia distorts HbA1c. Vitamin B12 (1): 47–70% of Indians deficient (Yajnik et al., JAPI, 2006). Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) (1): deficiency 40% to over 90% (Ritu & Gupta, IJCM, 2014). RA Factor (1): positive in only 70–80% of rheumatoid arthritis; a negative does not exclude it. CRP (1): qualitative, not hs-CRP. ## Sources NFHS-5, 2019–21 · Unnikrishnan et al., IJEM, 2013;17(4):647–652 · Yajnik et al., JAPI, 2006;54:775–782 · Ritu & Gupta, IJCM, 2014;39(4):178–184 · ADA, 2024 · AHA/ACC, 2018 · Duseja et al., Indian J Gastroenterol, 2022 Content last reviewed: October 2026

Who Should Get This Checkup?

  • Women past menopause in the NIT sectors and Old Faridabad – This is the group for whom CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker reads differently. The common benign causes of a raised value — menstruation, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic infection and pregnancy — are largely premenopausal, so after periods stop the same mildly raised figure has fewer innocent explanations and more often leads to a pelvic ultrasound and a gynaecology opinion. It is still a screening aid rather than a diagnosis, and a normal value does not exclude cancer. FSH is read here as confirming the menopausal transition, not as an out-of-range result.
  • Women whose work, paid or at home, is physically heavy – Sustained physical exertion transiently raises creatinine and uric acid, both reported in the 12-parameter Kidney Function Test, and it raises CRP too. The usual instruction to avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours assumes activity you can choose to skip. Book the draw after your longest gap from the work, say what it involves, and treat a borderline creatinine or uric acid as something to repeat after real rest rather than as a kidney finding.
  • Women with heavy periods, or a haemoglobin called low before – Over 50% of Indian women aged 15 to 49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019–21), usually because heavy or prolonged periods combine with low dietary iron. The CBC with ESR, Iron Studies and Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination together establish whether anaemia is present, whether iron is the cause, and what the red cells actually look like under a microscope. Vitamin B12, Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) and thyroid function come from the same draw.
  • Women whose periods have turned irregular, or stopped early – FSH, Luteinising Hormone and Prolactin are the first blood tests ordered for this. The FSH/LH ratio feeds a PCOS assessment, a persistently high FSH points to declining ovarian reserve or the menopausal transition, and raised prolactin is a common cause that responds to medication. Thyroid disease produces the same symptom and is three times as common in Indian women as in men, 15.86% against 5.02% (Unnikrishnan AG, et al., Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism, 2013;17(4):647–652). A pelvic ultrasound is not included here.
  • Women who have had gallstones, or pain after oily food – Gallstones are the commonest cause of pancreatitis in women, and the three tests that make this the higher tier — Amylase - Serum, Lipase - Serum and CA19.9 — exist for exactly that history. Two limits hold. Severe upper abdominal pain with vomiting is an emergency for a hospital the same day, not a home checkup. And mild symptoms with normal enzymes still need a doctor and usually an abdominal ultrasound, which no blood test replaces.
  • Women with no pancreatic reason to test — read this first – Three tests separate this package from the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women: Amylase, Lipase and CA19.9, all pancreatic. Every other parameter, hormones, CA125 and CEA included, is the same 96. With no gallstones, no upper abdominal symptoms and no very high triglycerides, the Advanced version is the identical screen for less. Non-HDL cholesterol, reported in this Lipid Profile, predicts cardiovascular risk better than LDL alone in either package (AHA/ACC Guideline on the Management of Blood Cholesterol, 2018).

How to Prepare

Fasting: 10 hours, needed for the Lipid Profile and Blood Glucose Fasting. Plain water is allowed and helps — a hydrated vein is an easier draw. No tea, coffee, juice or milk. Cycle day, or the fact that there is none. If you still have periods, aim for day 2 to 5, counting the first day of bleeding as day 1; FSH and Luteinising Hormone are read against early-follicular reference ranges, and a mid-cycle sample can show a normal LH surge that looks high. If your periods have stopped, or have become irregular, book any day and say so at booking — that context is what lets a high FSH be read as the menopausal transition rather than as an unexplained abnormal. If your work is physically heavy, paid or at home. Creatinine, uric acid and CRP all rise transiently with sustained exertion. The usual "avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours" line assumes activity you can skip; housework, loading and standing work are not optional. Book the draw after your longest gap from it and state at booking what the work involves, so it reaches the laboratory with the sample. Timing: a 7 to 10 AM slot is best. Prolactin is highest during sleep and the early hours, so a rested morning sample avoids a falsely raised value. TSH follows a daily rhythm too. Before a prolactin test: no breast or nipple stimulation and no breast examination in the previous 24 hours. Sit quietly for 15 to 20 minutes before the draw. Stress, sleep deprivation and several medicines — some antipsychotics, antiemetics and acid-reducing drugs — raise prolactin, so list what you take. Medications: continue prescription medicines unless your doctor says otherwise. Stop biotin supplements 48 hours before; biotin interferes with thyroid and hormone assays. Declare hormonal contraception, fertility medication and hormone replacement therapy, which change FSH, LH and prolactin. Alcohol: none for 48 hours; it affects GGT, liver enzymes, triglycerides, glucose and pancreatic enzymes. Pregnancy: CA125 is raised in pregnancy. If you are pregnant or might be, say so at booking. If you are in pain right now: severe upper abdominal pain with vomiting needs a hospital the same day, not a home checkup. Home collection: free across Faridabad — NIT 1, NIT 2, NIT 5, Sector 16, Sector 19, Sector 29, Sector 37, Sector 49, Old Faridabad, Badkhal, Surajkund, Green Field Colony and Charmwood Village, with the rest of the city on request. Reports: digital within 24 hours, all 99 parameters with reference ranges and flagged abnormals.

What Is Included — and What Is Not

Included: 99 parameters, 22 components 8 profiles: Complete Blood Count (CBC) with ESR (21), Complete Urine Analysis (17), Liver Function Test (12), Kidney Function Test (12), Lipid Profile (9), Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination (5), Iron Studies with Serum Iron, TIBC, UIBC, Transferrin and % Saturation (5), Thyroid Profile with TT3, TT4 and TSH (3). 14 individual tests: HbA1c with average blood glucose (2), Blood Glucose Fasting (1), Vitamin B12 (1), Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) (1), RA Factor (1), CRP qualitative (1), Prolactin (1), IHC- Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) (1), Luteinising Hormone (1), Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) (1), CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker (1), CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker (1), Amylase - Serum (1), Lipase - Serum (1). Sample: Blood and urine, single draw. Fasting: 10 hours. Reports: 24 hours. Gender: Female. Home collection: Free across Faridabad. ## Not included The CRP here is qualitative — positive or negative, with no number to follow across repeat tests. The Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor reports CRP in mg/L and costs less. The RA Factor is reported qualitatively too. Also absent: Estradiol, AMH, testosterone, DHEAS and 17-OH progesterone, which a gynaecologist may add in a PCOS or fertility workup; a pelvic ultrasound, which is how PCOS, ovarian masses and a raised CA125 are actually investigated; an abdominal ultrasound or CT, which is how the pancreas and biliary tree are imaged; beta-hCG for pregnancy; creatine kinase, which is what a doctor uses when muscle breakdown rather than kidney function is the question behind a raised creatinine; hs-CRP for cardiac risk; anti-CCP for rheumatoid arthritis; urine microalbumin or albumin-creatinine ratio for early diabetic kidney damage; haemoglobin electrophoresis or HPLC for thalassemia trait; ferritin; a Pap smear or HPV test for cervical screening; a mammogram or any breast imaging; a DEXA scan for bone density, which matters after menopause and which no blood package includes; colonoscopy, which is what screens for bowel cancer; dengue and malaria tests; and all other imaging. The three tumour markers here — CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker, Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker — are screening aids. None confirms or rules out cancer; that takes a doctor's assessment with imaging and sometimes a biopsy. CA19.9 carries one further limit: 5 to 10% of people are Lewis-antigen negative and cannot produce it at all, so their value stays undetectable regardless of disease. ## Where to go from here With no pancreatic reason to test, the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women at 96 parameters is this package minus Amylase, Lipase and CA19.9 and nothing else. For a trackable CRP figure, the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor at 91, open to all genders. For a man in the household, the Comprehensive Health Checkup for Men at 97 is the matching tier, with Testosterone Total and PSA in place of the female hormones and CA125.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Comprehensive Health Checkup for Women in Faridabad

What is included in the Comprehensive Health Checkup for Women?

99 parameters across 22 components: Complete Blood Count (CBC) with ESR (21), Complete Urine Analysis (17), Liver Function Test (12), Kidney Function Test (12), Lipid Profile (9), Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination (5), Iron Studies with Serum Iron, TIBC, UIBC, Transferrin and % Saturation (5), Thyroid Profile with TT3, TT4 and TSH (3), HbA1c with average blood glucose (2), Blood Glucose Fasting (1), Vitamin B12 (1), Vitamin D 25-Hydroxy (1), RA Factor (1), CRP qualitative (1), Prolactin (1), IHC- Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) (1), Luteinising Hormone (1), Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) (1), CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker (1), CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker (1), Amylase - Serum (1) and Lipase - Serum (1).

Does a raised CA125 mean I have ovarian cancer?

No. CA125 is a screening aid a doctor interprets alongside symptoms, examination and imaging, and in women without symptoms it has a meaningful false-positive rate. It rises in endometriosis, uterine fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, pregnancy and ordinary menstruation, all far more common than ovarian cancer in women under 50. Many early-stage ovarian cancers do not raise it at all, so a normal result is not reassurance by itself. Persistent bloating, pelvic pain, early satiety or a change in bowel habit needs a gynaecologist and a pelvic ultrasound whatever the number says.

I have been through menopause. Is my CA125 result read any differently?

In practice, yes, though the test itself is the same. Most of the common benign reasons for a raised CA125 — menstruation, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic infection and pregnancy — belong to the premenopausal years. After periods stop, fewer of those explanations are available, so a mildly raised value has less innocent ground to fall back on and more often leads a doctor to a pelvic ultrasound and a gynaecology opinion rather than a repeat in three months. It is still not a diagnosis, and a normal CA125 still does not exclude ovarian cancer.

My periods have stopped. Which day should I book for FSH and LH?

Any day. The day 2 to 5 rule exists because FSH and Luteinising Hormone are read against early-follicular reference ranges, and that has nothing to attach to once bleeding has stopped. Say at booking that your periods have stopped, and give the approximate date of the last one if you remember it. With that recorded, a persistently high FSH is read as confirming the menopausal transition rather than as an unexplained abnormal result, which is the difference between a useful report and a confusing one.

My work is physically heavy. Will that change my creatinine and uric acid?

It can. Creatinine is a breakdown product of muscle metabolism and sustained physical exertion raises it transiently; uric acid behaves the same way, and strenuous activity raises CRP as well. The usual instruction to avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours assumes activity you can choose to skip, which housework, loading and standing work are not. Book the draw after your longest gap from the work, say what it involves at booking, and expect a borderline creatinine or uric acid to be repeated after a genuine rest period before anything is concluded from it.

How much does the Comprehensive Health Checkup for Women cost in Faridabad?

It starts from 2499 in Faridabad. Home sample collection and digital reports for all 99 parameters are included in that figure, with nothing added at checkout. Book online or on WhatsApp.

What exactly does this add over the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women?

Three tests, and only three. This package holds everything in the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women — all 96 parameters, including FSH, Luteinising Hormone, Prolactin, CA125 and CEA — plus Amylase - Serum, Lipase - Serum and CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker, which takes it to 99 parameters across 22 components. All three additions concern the pancreas: Amylase and Lipase are pancreatic enzymes that screen for pancreatitis, and CA19.9 is a pancreatic tumour marker. Nothing else differs, so with no pancreatic reason to test, the Advanced version covers the same ground for less.

Is this package worth the extra money?

Only if you need the pancreas tested, and it is a narrow difference rather than a grand one. Three tests separate the two. If you have had gallstones, get recurring upper abdominal discomfort, or carry very high triglycerides, Amylase, Lipase and CA19.9 are relevant and this is the right package. If none of that applies, the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women gives you the identical 96 parameters for less money, and we would rather tell you that than not.

What do the Amylase and Lipase tests detect?

Both are digestive enzymes made by the pancreas, and both rise when it is inflamed. Lipase is more specific to the pancreas and stays raised longer, which often makes it the more useful of the two. They are the standard blood tests for acute pancreatitis, which presents as severe upper abdominal pain boring through to the back, usually with vomiting — an emergency needing a hospital the same day. Gallstones are the commonest cause in women. Amylase also rises with salivary gland disease, reduced kidney clearance and some medicines, so a mildly raised value without symptoms often has a benign explanation.

Does a raised CA19.9 mean I have pancreatic cancer?

No. CA19.9 is a tumour marker, which makes it a screening aid a doctor interprets alongside your symptoms and imaging, never read on its own. It is commonly raised in benign biliary and pancreatic conditions — gallstones, bile duct obstruction, cholangitis, chronic pancreatitis and cirrhosis — and jaundice from any cause pushes it up. Its established clinical use is monitoring pancreatic cancer that has already been diagnosed, not finding it in people without symptoms. A normal value does not exclude pancreatic cancer and a raised one does not confirm it.

Can CA19.9 be normal in someone who has pancreatic cancer?

Yes, and in one group it is always undetectable. Between 5 and 10% of people are Lewis-antigen negative, meaning their body cannot produce CA19.9 at all, so their result stays undetectable whether or not disease is present. Early pancreatic cancer also frequently fails to raise it. A normal CA19.9 is therefore not an all-clear: persistent upper abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, new diabetes or jaundice needs a doctor and imaging whatever the report says.

What does the CEA test detect?

Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) is a protein used mainly to monitor colorectal cancer that has already been diagnosed, rather than to find it in people without symptoms. Smokers run higher baseline levels as a rule, and CEA also rises in inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, cirrhosis and chronic lung disease. A normal CEA does not exclude bowel cancer, and a raised one does not confirm it. Colonoscopy, or a faecal immunochemical test, is what screens for colorectal cancer, and neither is part of this package.

What do FSH, LH and Prolactin actually tell me?

Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinising Hormone (LH) come from the pituitary gland and drive the ovarian cycle; Prolactin is the hormone of lactation, which suppresses ovulation when raised. Together they are the standard first-line panel for irregular or absent periods, suspected PCOS and the start of a fertility workup. The FSH/LH ratio contributes to a PCOS assessment, with LH often high relative to FSH, while a persistently high FSH points towards declining ovarian reserve or the menopausal transition.

Can a raised Prolactin be treated?

Usually, yes, which is a large part of why it is measured. Raised prolactin suppresses ovulation and is a common cause of irregular or absent periods, sometimes with milky nipple discharge. It is also pushed up by things that are not disease — stress, sleep deprivation, a recent breast examination or nipple stimulation — and by several medicines including some antipsychotics, antiemetics and acid-reducing drugs. A mildly high value is normally repeated under rested morning conditions, and a persistently high one is investigated for a pituitary cause and often responds to tablets.

Is the CRP in this package a number or just positive and negative?

Positive or negative. The CRP here is qualitative: it indicates whether inflammation is present and gives no value in mg/L, so it cannot be compared across repeat tests to show whether inflammation is rising or settling. The RA Factor is reported qualitatively too. If your doctor wants a trackable CRP value, the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor reports CRP quantitatively in mg/L and costs less than this package. Neither is hs-CRP, the high-sensitivity assay used for cardiovascular risk.

What is the Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination, and why is it in a women's panel?

It is the component that looks at the cells rather than counting them. The ESR reported with the CBC tells you something somewhere is inflamed but names nothing; the smear is where a qualified pathologist prepares a slide, reads it under a microscope and reports five findings — Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets, Hemoparasites and a written Impression. It matters particularly for women because over 50% of Indian women aged 15 to 49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019–21) and a CBC says only that haemoglobin is low. Small pale cells point to iron deficiency, large cells to B12 or folate deficiency, sickle-shaped cells to sickle cell disease. It also detects blast cells that may indicate leukaemia and clumped platelets an analyser returns as a dangerously low count.

Why is a Peripheral Smear missing from so many packages at this price?

Because it cannot be automated. Twenty-one of the twenty-two components here are machine-run, but a smear needs a qualified pathologist to prepare and read each slide by hand, which is skilled manual time rather than machine time — so it is the line item cut first when a package is built to a price. Across Delhi NCR the Hemoparasites finding is the practical reason to keep it: the slide is examined directly for malarial parasites inside red blood cells, and dengue, malaria and chikungunya circulate every monsoon. Check any package's test list for a Blood Picture or Peripheral Smear profile by name.

How long do I need to fast before this checkup?

10 hours. Plain water is allowed and encouraged; no tea, coffee, juice or milk during the fasting window. The fast is needed for the Lipid Profile and Blood Glucose Fasting — the hormones and tumour markers do not require it. Avoid alcohol for 48 hours, since it affects GGT, triglycerides, glucose and pancreatic enzymes. Stop biotin supplements 48 hours beforehand. Declare hormonal contraception, fertility medication or hormone replacement therapy, all of which change FSH, LH and prolactin results. If you are or might be pregnant, say so — CA125 is raised in pregnancy.

Which parts of Faridabad get free home sample collection?

Free home collection covers Faridabad, including NIT 1, NIT 2, NIT 3, NIT 5, Sector 16, Sector 19, Sector 21, Sector 29, Sector 37, Sector 49, Sector 55, Old Faridabad, Ballabgarh, Badkhal, Surajkund, Sarai Khawaja, Green Field Colony and Charmwood Village, with the rest of the city on request. A trained phlebotomist collects the blood and urine samples at your door in one visit, and the sample travels to the laboratory in temperature-controlled conditions. Take a 7 to 10 AM slot, since prolactin is lowest after a night's rest.

Can I book this for my mother, and is the laboratory NABL-accredited?

Yes to both. Add her details at booking and ask for a single slot if two women at the same address are testing; each gets her own report. Say for each of you whether periods have stopped or which cycle day you are on, since that is what makes the FSH and LH results readable. Your sample is processed at a NABL-accredited laboratory in our network. NABL accreditation is granted to individual laboratories after evaluation of their equipment, processes and personnel; it is not a company-wide certification, and HealthVas does not claim to hold it. Digital reports with all 99 parameters arrive within 24 hours.

Why Book on HealthVas?

The price on the page is the price you pay. Home sample collection and digital reports are not billed separately. Every sample is processed at a NABL-accredited laboratory in our network, and reports are issued on HealthVas letterhead. NABL accreditation (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) is granted to individual laboratories after evaluation of their equipment, processes and personnel — it is not a company-wide certification, and HealthVas does not claim to hold it. Two things on this page are not standard. The first is that we say plainly how CA125 changes meaning with age: the benign causes of a raised value are largely premenopausal, so the same figure carries different weight at 32 and at 58, and after periods stop it more often leads to imaging. It remains a screening aid either way — a raised value has many non-cancerous causes and a normal value does not exclude cancer. The second is the instruction for women whose work is physically heavy, paid or domestic: creatinine, uric acid and CRP rise transiently with exertion, so the sample is best taken after your longest gap from the work, with the work recorded on the request. We would also rather describe our own catalogue accurately than sell the biggest number in it. This package is the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women plus three pancreatic tests — Amylase, Lipase and CA19.9. With no pancreatic reason to test, the Advanced version is the same 96 parameters for less. The CRP in both is qualitative; if your doctor wants a CRP number to follow over time, the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor reports it in mg/L and costs less than either. The Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination here is read by a qualified pathologist under a microscope rather than counted by an analyser, which is how cell shape, hemoparasites and clumped platelets get caught at all — and it earns its place where over half of women aged 15 to 49 are anaemic. The hormone and tumour-marker results carry their limits with them: FSH and LH against cycle day where there is one, prolactin against rested conditions, and CA125, CEA and CA19.9 as screening aids, CA19.9 being undetectable altogether in the 5 to 10% of people who are Lewis-antigen negative.
