Said plainly: this is the Advanced Full Body Checkup for Women plus exactly three pancreatic tests — Amylase - Serum, Lipase- Serum and CA19.9. The other 96 parameters are identical, hormones and CA125 included; with no pancreatic reason to test, the Advanced version covers the rest. The CRP in both is qualitative, no figure; the Comprehensive Full Body Checkup with CRP & RA Factor reports CRP in mg/L and costs less than either. ## The Three Pancreatic Additions Amylase - Serum and Lipase- Serum rise when the pancreas inflames; Lipase is more pancreas-specific and stays raised longer. They are the standard blood tests for acute pancreatitis — severe upper abdominal pain boring to the back with vomiting, a same-day hospital matter, not a routine report. Gallstones are the commonest cause in women. A mildly raised amylase without symptoms often has a benign cause. CA19.9 - Pancreatic Cancer Marker is a tumour marker: a screening aid read with symptoms and imaging, never alone. It is commonly raised in benign biliary and pancreatic conditions — gallstones, bile duct obstruction, cholangitis, chronic pancreatitis, cirrhosis — and by jaundice. Its established use is monitoring pancreatic cancer already diagnosed, not finding it. It has a hard limit: 5 to 10% of people are Lewis-antigen negative and cannot produce CA19.9 at all, so their value stays undetectable even with cancer present. A normal result does not exclude cancer; a raised one does not confirm it. ## FSH, LH and Prolactin: Timing IHC- Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Luteinising Hormone and Prolactin are the first-line panel for irregular periods, suspected PCOS and fertility workup. FSH and LH drive the ovarian cycle; their ratio forms part of a PCOS assessment, and a high FSH points to declining ovarian reserve. Raised Prolactin suppresses ovulation, a common treatable cause of irregular or absent periods. The first rule is cycle day: FSH and LH are drawn on day 2 to 5 (day 1 is the first day of bleeding), since the ranges are early-follicular and a mid-cycle sample can show a normal LH surge reading high. The second is sleep, the rule Noida's shift workers need. Prolactin rises during sleep rather than at a clock hour, so a day sleeper's rhythm moves with her sleep and a morning sample after a night awake is not the rested sample the range assumes. Say when you last slept; stress, a breast examination and some medicines raise prolactin too. ## CA125 and CEA CA125 - Ovarian Cancer marker rises in endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, pregnancy and menstruation; Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) runs higher in smokers and in bowel inflammation, pancreatitis and cirrhosis. Both are read with symptoms and imaging: a raised value usually has a non-cancerous cause and a normal value excludes nothing. Persistent bloating or pelvic pain needs a gynaecologist and a pelvic ultrasound regardless. ## Blood Picture - Peripheral Smear Examination Twenty-one components come off analysers; this one off a microscope. A qualified pathologist reads the slide by hand and reports Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets, Hemoparasites and an Impression — manual pathologist time, the line item packages drop to hold a price. Over 50% of Indian women aged 15-49 are anaemic (NFHS-5, 2019-21) and a CBC says only that haemoglobin is low. Cell shape says why: small pale cells mean iron deficiency, large cells B12 or folate deficiency, sickle-shaped cells sickle cell disease. The slide also shows blast cells suggesting leukaemia, clumped platelets an analyser reports as dangerously low, and malarial parasites — which matter where dengue and malaria are endemic in Delhi NCR. ## The Other 13 Components CBC with ESR (21): Anaemia, infection, inflammation. Iron Studies (5): Iron deficiency versus chronic-disease anaemia; thalassemia trait needs Hb electrophoresis. Thyroid Profile (3): Indian women are hypothyroid three times as often as men (Unnikrishnan, IJEM, 2013). Liver Function Test (12): Fatty liver, alcohol damage; NAFLD affects 30-40% of urban Indian adults (Duseja, 2022). Kidney Function Test (12): Creatinine, GFR, uric acid. Lipid Profile (9): Non-HDL cholesterol beats LDL alone as a predictor (AHA/ACC, 2018); very high triglycerides cause pancreatitis. Complete Urine Analysis (17): Protein, glucose, infection — not microalbuminuria, which needs a separate ACR test. Blood Glucose Fasting (1) and HbA1c (2): 100-125 mg/dL prediabetes, 126 or above diabetes (ADA, 2024); anaemia distorts HbA1c — read it with the CBC. Vitamin B12 (1): 47-70% of Indians deficient (Yajnik, JAPI, 2006). Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) (1): Deficiency 40% to over 90% (Ritu & Gupta, IJCM, 2014); night work means little daylight. RA Factor (1): Qualitative; positive in only 70-80% of rheumatoid arthritis, a negative does not exclude it; anti-CCP is more specific. CRP (1): Qualitative — present or absent, not hs-CRP. ## Sources NFHS-5, 2019-21 · Unnikrishnan, IJEM, 2013;17(4):647-652 · Yajnik, JAPI, 2006;54:775-782 · Ritu & Gupta, IJCM, 2014;39(4):178-184 · ADA, 2024 · AHA/ACC, 2018 · Duseja, Indian J Gastroenterol, 2022 Content last reviewed: October 2026
